Our story

A small studio in the Top End

Cove Direct began in Rosebery, Northern Territory — a quiet collaboration between makers, potters and weavers from across Australia.

We started Cove Direct because we wanted homeware that felt like the country it came from — pieces shaped by ironbark, paperbark, sandstone and salt air rather than international trend cycles.

Every product in the collection is made or finished in Australia. We work directly with a small group of independent makers: a ceramicist in regional Victoria, a woodworker outside Darwin, a textile studio in South Australia. Short supply chains mean we can keep prices honest and quality consistent.

Our approach is slow on purpose. New pieces only join the collection when they earn it. We'd rather make six things well than sixty things in a hurry.

Thanks for being part of it.
